This post documents my personal aesthetic treatment journey. I am not a medical professional. Nothing here constitutes medical advice. Please consult a qualified aesthetician or dermatologist before starting any injectable or in-home treatment. You may also want to verify specific product claims with your own provider, as individual responses vary.
I did not bring it up. That is the part I want to start with, because it is the part that actually surprised me.
If you read Part One, you already know how this started. One Sculptra session. A switch to Daxify. And a promise that I would come back and tell you the truth once I actually had something to report.
Eight weeks in, I have something to report.

The compliments
started
Yesterday, sitting with two friends who have known my face for years, one of them stopped mid-sentence and said, "Something is different. You look really well." The other agreed before I had said a single word about Sculptra, or tretinoin, or any of it.
That is the moment you are hoping for when you start something like this. Not "did you have work done," but "you look well." Rested. Even. Like yourself, just clearer.

I am not going to overclaim what a photo can prove. Sculptra works by stimulating your own collagen gradually, and skin tone is affected by a dozen things at once — sleep, stress, hydration, the products sitting on top of it.
What I can tell you honestly is what I see when I look at this photo next to how I remember looking a couple of months ago: my skin tone looks more even, the texture looks smoother, and there is less of that dullness I had gotten so used to that I had stopped noticing it. Whether that is entirely the Sculptra, entirely the routine underneath it, or all of it working together, I genuinely cannot separate out. I would rather tell you that than pretend I can. This is also completely bare-faced, no makeup, so what you are seeing is exactly what is there.
What I am actually
doing at home
My aesthetician was clear from day one that Sculptra does the structural work but your at-home routine is what supports it while it builds. Here is exactly what is in rotation right now, four things, used consistently, not all added at once.

This is the one I reach for underneath everything else. Niacinamide is doing double duty across my routine right now, evening out tone on the surface while the Sculptra works underneath, and the watermelon base keeps it from feeling like just another active layered onto already-busy skin.
"It's smooth and light going on, glides straight into my skin, and it genuinely feels and smells lovely. I wait a few minutes before I layer the tretinoin and the Paula's Choice moisturizer on top."
Tretinoin, now more consistent. In Part One I mentioned starting slowly, twice a week, while my provider and I worked out the right strength. Eight weeks in, I'm up to four to five times a week at 0.05%, still a small dose, still building slowly rather than rushing it. It goes on after the Dew Drops have had a few minutes to settle, then the Paula's Choice moisturizer seals everything in. Tretinoin is prescription-only — the right strength for your skin is a conversation to have with your own provider.
Still the same one from Part One, still doing the same job: when your skin is being asked to rebuild collagen from the inside, the least you can do is support the barrier from the outside. Eight weeks in, nothing has changed my mind on this one.
Shop on Amazon → ✦ Affiliate link — I earn a small commission if you purchase, at no extra cost to youThis is the follow-up to the first look I wrote when I ordered it — a third of the price of the iRestore and the first budget mask with a spec sheet I trusted enough to actually buy. I said then I would report back once I had real use behind it. Consistent use, three to four times a week, alongside everything else, and if I am honest it might be doing more than I expected. Not a replacement for anything, but the thing that ties the rest of the routine together.

caveat
I want to say this plainly because I said I would always tell you the truth here: I am running four things at once, plus the Sculptra itself. If you asked me to isolate which one is doing the most work, I could not tell you with certainty.
What is
next
My return session for the next two vials of Sculptra is still planned for eight to ten months out from session one, once this round has fully settled. I will keep updating here as it builds, the way I promised in Part One. If the pattern holds, the next honest report should have even more to show.
✦ If you are on a similar timeline with Sculptra, or trying any part of this routine yourself, I would love to hear how it is going for you. Send me an email — I read every one.
